Summary
Cabot Coach Builders, Inc DBA Royale (Royale Limousine) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Mercedes Sprinter-based mini coaches equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats, part numbers 437052OLHIFOLD and 43705PFOLDSS. When the back seat cushion is rotated from the stowed position to the upright position, the seat cushion may not remain locked into place when under load, such as in a crash or a sudden stop.
Remedy
Royale Limousine will notify owners and dealers will inspect and repair the seat, free of charge. The recall began June 6, 2019. Owners may contact Royale Limousine customer service at 1-800-544-5587.

Dear Owner,
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Cabot Coach Builders has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2015-2018 model year Mercedes Sprinter Vehicles with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats. Your vehicle is included in this Recall action.
What is the concern?
A manufacturing concern has been identified with certain model Freedman GO-ES seats specifically part numbers 4370520LHFOLD and 4370PFOLDSS. When the seat back cushion is rotated from the stowed position to the upright position the seat cushion may not remain locked into place under load, such as a crash or a sudden stop. In the event of a crash, if the seat back moves, the seat occupant has an increased risk of injury.
What will Cabot Coach Builders and your dealer do?
Cabot Coach Builders and Freedman are carrying out a recall of the vehicle mentioned above. Cabot Coach Builders or an authorized dealer will inspect and repair the seat. There will be no charge for this repair under this program.
What should you do?
Please contact Cabot Coach Builders directly with your Vehicle Identification Number (VN) and request a service date to complete the work required under Program Code 19V249.
How long will it take?
The work will be carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to minimize inconvenience to customers and is expected to take approximately two hours, although your dealer may need your vehicle for a longer time. Your dealer can provide you with a better estimate of the overall time for the service visit.
