Check coolant line of battery cooling, replace if necessary

Check/test procedure
1. Lift vehicle, turn right front wheel, and release wheel well housing as shown.
It is not necessary to remove the front wheel well liner completely in order to perform the check.
2. Release coolant line of battery cooling (A, Figure 2) from clip (B, Figure 2), detach temperature sensor (C, Figure 2), and pull coolant line downward slightly to read the part number.
3. Check whether coolant line with part number A 167 501 63 03 is installed.
a. Coolant line with part number A 167 501 63 03 installed: End measure.
b. Coolant line with part number A 167 501 63 03 not installed: Carry out work procedure.
Work procedure
1. Remove front engine compartment lining (D, Figure 4) and right cover (E, Figure 4).
For basic data, see AR61.20-P-1105ME.
2. Remove right front bulkhead front section with front wheel installed.
3. Replace coolant line for battery cooling (A, Figure 2).
Capture any fluid and reuse.
4. Fill cooling system using vacuum method.
5. Install in the reverse order
