- Remove left and right front wheel and tire assembly. For basic data, see AR40.10-P-1102ME
- Remove nut (2, Figure 1) at upper transverse control arm (1, Figure 1). For basic data, see AR33.20-P-0500ME
- Check spherical cap in area (A, Figure 2).
a. If groove (B, Figure 2 or 3) is not present : Carry out work procedure .
b. If groove (B, Figure 2 or 3) is present: End measure.
Work procedure
- Replace upper transverse control arm (1, Figure 1). For basic data, see AR33.20-P-0500ME.
- Assemble in reverse order.
