Work procedure
1. Remove rear engine compartment lining.
For basic data, see AR61.20-P-1105EQS.
2. Disconnect steering coupling at steering shaft lock. For basic data, see AR46.10-P-8000EQS.
This ensures that the upper screw is accessible.
3. Correct tightening torque for rear bearings of rear outer major assembly carrier on right and left in relation to body-in-white.
There are three nuts each (A, Figure 2) on the left and right bearing.
Nut for elastomer bearing to body 27 Nm. For basic data, see AR22.10-P-0005EQS.
