The vehicles will be visible and flagged in VMI as “OPEN” on May 20, 2022. Background Issue Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2021 CLA-Class, GLA-Class, GLE-Class, GLS-Class, A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, GLB-Class, CLS-Class, and AMG GT 4-doors/Coupe (118, 167, 177, 190, 213, 238, 247, 257, and 290 platform). The possibility exists that the information regarding radar sensor MMRV1 may be incorrect, and therefore the printed operator’s manual may not align with the internal vehicle specifications. What We’re Doing MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will check and replace the printed operator’s manual, if necessary. Parts The remedy is available and can be performed as necessary. Work Procedure 1. Check whether the operator’s manual is in the vehicle document wallet and whether it is the correct version. If no operator’s manual is found, a printed operator’s manual must be placed in the vehicle document wallet as an aftermarket measure.
