This is to notify you of the upcoming Service Campaign to replace the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label (VECI) on approximately 72 MY21 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. All affected VINs will be flagged as “OPEN” in VMI.

Issue

Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, determined that in certain vehicles, the VECI label does not correspond to current production configuration.

What We’re Doing

MBUSA is conducting a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dealer will replace the Vehicle Emission Certification Information (VECI) label on the affected units.
