Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2020 CLA-Class (model series 118), Model Year (“MY”) 2021 GLE/GLS-Class (model series 167) vehicles, the vehicle emission control information label (VECI) may not correspond to the certified classification. Therefore, the correct VECI label will be affixed on the affected vehicles.
Prior to performing this Campaign:
•VMI must always be checked before performing campaigns to verify that the campaign is required ona specific vehicle. Always check for any other open campaigns, and perform accordingly.
•Please review the entire Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as described.
Approximately 37 vehicles are affected.

- Replace information label at bonding position 4 (Figure 1) at inside of hood.
BIN / ULEV 125 must be present on the information label.
Attention: Take into account order information for model 167 with or without code 085!
