All affected VINs will be flagged as “OPEN” in VMI. Background Issue MBAG has found that incorrect clamps may have been installed in the coolant circuit on certain vehicles. As a result, this may lead to leaks in the coolant circuit and loss of coolant. What We’re Doing MBUSA is conducting a Service Campaign. An authorized Metris dealer will inspect the clamps on the heating circuit hose lines on the affected vehicles, and replace if necessary. Parts Replacement clamps are available. As a result, this may lead to leaks in the coolant circuit and loss of coolant. An authorized Metris dealer will inspect the clamps on the heating circuit hose lines on the affected vehicles, and replace if necessary.
